About WAVR

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Our story

WAVR was founded by Brian Siembor, PhD, out of a simple frustration: general contractors and project teams were tracking subcontractor compliance in spreadsheets, email threads, and filing cabinets — and finding out about expired insurance certificates only after something went wrong.

Brian built WAVR to answer two questions instantly for every project: is this firm clear to build, and is it safe to pay them? That idea became our tagline — "Clear to build. Safe to pay." — and it drives everything in the product.

What we believe

  • Compliance should be visible, not buried. Every subcontractor's status, documents, and waivers live in one roster the whole team can trust.
  • AI should do the reading. Certificates of insurance and licenses are tedious to review. WAVR's document scanner identifies document types, extracts the key details, and flags missing or conflicting information.
  • Small teams deserve big-tool rigor. You shouldn't need a compliance department to know your COI expirations are under control.

Where we are

WAVR is based in New Hampshire and serves construction and project teams across the United States.
